Ross McCormack – Fulham
As one of The Championship’s stand out players last season big things are expected of Ross McCormack this year, following his big money move to Fulham. After a couple of seasons of getting use to life at Leeds United, (where the striker still managed to net a healthy return of goals) McCormack scored an incredible 29 goals last season and looked as though he was on course for a move to the Premier League. Whilst that didn’t quite materialise, his transfer to one of the favourites to win promotion shows his ambition but also that his exploits from last season have not gone unnoticed. At 27 McCormack’s best years could still be ahead of him and, if he fires Fulham back to the Premier League, the investment will be more than worth it.
