We’re now less than a week from the first match of the season at Brighton and with all of the pre-season games complete, it seems an appropriate time to look at which players could stand out and play important roles in Sheffield Wednesday’s upcoming campaign.
As the proposed takeover is still yet to be officially completed, the pre-season period has been rather frustrating for Wednesdayites with the club not making as many signings as the supporters might have hoped for. However there are numerous players already within the ranks who could be influential in the upcoming campaign.
