Reece Brown has signed for Barnsley from Watford after a succesful trial Barnsley confirmed via their official twitter account.

The defender started his career out with Manchester United before then enjoying loan spells with Bradford City, Doncaster and Oldham.

He joined Watford last year in 2013 yet failed to make multiple appearances for them with only one game against Reading as a substitute. The defender is the younger brother of Premier League defender Wes Brown and is looking to make a real impression at Barnsley with the League 1 club now looking to return back up to the Championship.

With Brown yet to make an impression at a club on a permanent basis after being farmed out on loan six times during his career, he will really want to cement his spot in the first team at Oakwell.
