South Yorkshire Football Journalist, Jonathan Buchan, has Tweeted that Leeds United have had a second bid rejected for young Chesterfield defender, Liam Cooper.

Leeds made an offer thought to be in the region of £400,000 this morning, which was rejected by the newly-promoted League One club. Reports that Leeds were interested in the 22 year old started circulating yesterday when fellow Yorkshire Football Journalist, Alan Biggs, Tweeted:

Buchan’s Tweet suggests that Leeds have now moved on from their attempts to sign the youngster who has made 60 appearances for the League One club.
