Local paper This Is Local London is reporting that Ex-Hull City forward Jay Simpson is set to sign for Leyton Orient.
According to the reports the 25-year-old is thought to have had a medical late last night at the Matchroom Stadium.
Simpson has recently been playing in Thailand for Buriram United where he signed a two year deal with the club.
After signing on for the Thai club last September he has made 22 appearances for the club scoring twice, earlier last month Simpson voiced his desire to return to England which lead to his contract being mutually terminated.
During his last spell in England the ex-Arsenal youth was signed by Hull City back in Aug 2010 for a free of £1m and stayed with the club for 3 years making 85 appearances with the Tigers, scoring 13 goals.
