Bolton Wanderers are considering a move for former Bristol City defender Liam Fontaine.

Fontaine left The Robins on a free transfer at the end of the 2013/14 season, ending an eight year association with the club.

Dougie Freedman has taken the opportunity to invite Fontaine to training to judge whether it is worth making a move for the centre-half.

The 28-year-old has made over 300 career appearances, the vast majority at Bristol City.
