Manchester United are keeping tabs on Bristol City striker

Manchester United are monitoring the progress of Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo, as per a report by Devon Live.

The 18-year-old is currently on loan at League Two side Newport County to gain some first-team experience. He has so far managed to score twice in twelve games altogether.

Semenyo is attracting interest from Premier League giants Manchester United who have sent scouts to watch him in action over recent weeks. The Red Devils are keen on further bolstering their youth academy and could continue to keep tabs on Semenyo.

The London-born forward joined Bristol City last year and is being tipped for a big future by the Championship side. They handed him his senior debut on the final day of last season in their Championship fixture against Sheffield United in which they lost 3-2.

Semenyo spent time on loan in non-league in the last campaign with Bath City and scored six goals in nine games for the National League South side. Bristol City then opted to loan him out again for this season for him to get more of a taste of senior football as opposed to playing youth football.

He has done well so far in the fourth tier with Newport County and has been a hit with their fans. Both them and Bristol City will be hoping that he stays on the books at Ashton Gate amid interest from Manchester United. However, if they did come in for him, it would be hard to stop him moving to Old Trafford.
