Marcelo Bielsa says what he think and what he knows. There is little room for any small talk at his press conferences and as well as naming his starting XI for the Sheffield Wednesday he also provided an injury update for the host of names on the sidelines currently.
Kemar Roofe is the closest to being fit for the match on Friday evening at Sheffield Wednesday but Bielsa has confirmed he won’t be available for the game, or made it pretty clear at least. The striker has been a huge miss although Tyler Roberts has provided one performance to note in the three games. The injury to Kemar Roofe was directly after the long-term injury to Patrick Bamford, sustained playing for the under 23’s/ Bielsa said it would be a long time for him, as well as Izzy Brown.
Injury latest: Bamford and Brown won't be ready "for a long time". Roofe is close – "not immediately but close". Berardi and Hernandez also close, but not as close as Roofe. Shauughnessy will be a bit longer. So none available for Friday's game. #lufc

Along with Roofe, Brown and Bamford Bielsa also said Hernandez and Berardi were getting closer, but they are even further away than Kemar Roofe. Hernandez has been a huge miss, especially when we came up against Middlesbrough before the international break. A game like that, or even Birmingham was when you need a player to come up with something special and Hernandez is probably the man to provide that.
Leeds need a response on Friday night in a huge Yorkshire Derby against Sheffield Wednesday. The South Yorkshire club have just hit form and will now fancy their chances against a Leeds side who have dropped some points in the last four games. Leeds are taking down just under 5k fans for the clash and it promises to be quick and robust.
