Norwich City and Bolton Wanderers interested in fellow Championship winger

Norwich City and Bolton Wanderers want to loan Aston Villa winger Andre Green, according to The Mirror.

Championship clubs have until Friday night to conclude loan signings as sides scramble to make the finishing touches to their squads.

Aston Villa winger Andre Green could be on the move to another second tier side with Norwich and Bolton looking to bolster their attacking options.

The 20-year-old is highly-rated by Villa but his first-team chances this season may be limited by their recent signing of Yannick Bolaise on loan from Everton. Therefore, Steve Bruce’s side could loan Green out for more regular game time for this campaign.

Green joined Villa at the age of 9 and rose through the youth ranks at Villa Park. He made his debut for them in a Premier League fixture in March 2016 against Tottenham Hotspur and has since played 27 more games for them in all competitions.

He has also represented England at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 level and is seen as one of the brightest talents to have progressed out of Villa’s academy over recent years.

At the age of just 20 a loan move to either Norwich or Bolton would be useful for Andre Green to go out and get some more minutes under his belt. He is a quick and sharp winger who would offer one of those more of a threat going forward. This is a transfer to keep an eye on before Friday’s deadline.
