Five potential candidates to replace Kevin Nolan at Notts County

Notts County are in the hunt for a new manager after sacking Kevin Nolan after five games. Here are five potential candidates for the job-

Harry Kewell, Crawley Town- The Australian took charge of Crawley last summer and guided them to 14th position in League Two last season. They have invested in their squad over the past couple of months as he looks to further put his own stamp on them, so it would be a shock to see him leave for Notts County.

Gary Bowyer- He is available after leaving third tier side Blackpool after just a single game. Bowyer, who has also previously managed Blackburn Rovers, got the Seasiders promoted from League Two under difficult circumstances in 2017 and kept them up in League One last season.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink- The former Royal Antwerp, Burton Albion, QPR and Northampton Town boss is without a club at the moment and is an option for Notts County. He won the League Two title with Burton in 2015 and knows what it takes to succeed at this level.

Keith Curle- The 54-year-old left Carlisle United at the end of last season after four years in charge there. Curle has managed Notts County before and they finished 7th in his only full season in charge. Would they go back to him?

Darren Ferguson- He is an experienced Football League boss and is another option for Notts County. He guided Doncaster Rovers to promotion in 2017 and has also got three other promotions on his CV from his time at Peterborough United.
