Nottingham Forest are eyeing a loan move for Wolves’ Romain Saiss, as reported by The72 earlier today.
The Reds have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer market this summer in the Championship and are still in the hunt for players who would improve their squad.
Wolves’ Romain Saiss, who can play as either a defender of midfielder, has emerged as the latest player to be linked with Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old moved to Wolves in August 2016 from French Ligue 1 side Angers and has played 66 times for them in all competitions, scoring 4 goals. He played a key part in their Championship title winning season under Nuno Espirito Santo last season.
Saiss is yet to feature for Wolves in the Premier League this season and his first-team chances could become limited. Therefore, Nottingham Forest may offer him a route out of Molinuex.
Prior to moving to England, Saiss spent his career in France with spells at Valence, Clermont, Le Havre and Angers. He was at the World Cup this summer with Morocco and played in all three of their group games in Russia.
Here is how the Nottingham Forest fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that Romain Saiss is on their radar-
Saiss would be a fantastic signing. Could spell the end for Liam Bridcutt #nffc https://t.co/gMxCowPKUj
