Hull City take on Blackburn Rovers at the KCOM Stadium in their third game of the season tomorrow. Here is a predicted starting eleven-
GK- David Marshall- Nigel Adkins has stuck with the Scotland international after a shaky start to the season against Aston Villa. He has played well in City’s last two games against Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United and will deservedly keep his place.
RB- Eric Lichaj- He has started the last two games for City in the Championship and will play again. The American international has slotted in nicely into the backline.
CB- Reece Burke- The summer recruit from West Ham United looks to be a great signing for the Tigers and has a bright future ahead of him at the KCOM Stadium.
CB- Jordy de Wijs- Another new signing, the Dutch defender had a nervous first game against Villa but was decent against Sheffield Wednesday. Adkins should stick with him.
LB- Stephen Kingsley- He is expected to keep his place at left-back. Youngster Brandon Fleming impressed against Sheffield United but Kingsley is likely to remain.
RM- Jarrod Bowen- The talented winger will be a key player for City this season. He scored 15 goals last season.
CM- Markus Henriksen- The newly appointed captain will keep his place in the starting eleven. Henriksen has won over the City faithful.
CM- Daniel Batty- He has broken into the first-team and is likely to play a big part this season. The academy graduate has impressed in the first two games in the league.
LM- Todd Kane- The Chelsea loanee has been used as a winger by Adkins. He is technically a defender but is used on the left and cuts in on his right foot.
CAM- Evandro- He has been in impressive form for City so far this season. If kept fit, he will be a massive player for City.
ST- Fraizer Campbell- Adkins is likely to stick with Campbell after he scored last time out in the league against Sheffield Wednesday.
