Fans of former English Premier League champions Leicester City have produced a mixed reaction to the news that their side will host Sky Bet League One club Fleetwood Town at home in the second round of this season’s Carabao Cup.
The draw for the second round was made earlier this evening with The Foxes and The Cod Army coming together for the third time in 2018 following two meetings in the Emirates FA Cup earlier in the year.
In the Emirates FA Cup third round, Fleetwood Town held Leicester City to a goalless draw at Highbury in January before losing the replay 2-0 at The King Power Stadium 10 days later.
The two sides will again meet at the home of The Foxes in the week commencing 27 August and Leicester City fans have given mixed opinions about the tie on twitter.
Another game where it’ll all be about Vardy😂. Please don’t let it be on TV. #lcfc
