Hull City are in need of another striker and need to delve into the loan market to bring one in. Here are five they should go for-
Chris Martin, Derby County- The experienced forward has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Fulham and Reading. He has fallen down the pecking order at Derby and could be available again. Martin would be ideal for City and is an option.
Cauley Woodrow, Fulham- His first-team chances with the Cottagers are scare now they are in the Premier League and he could leave them on loan. He has spent the last couple of campaigns at Burton Albion and Bristol City in the Championship and is a former England Under-21 international.
Danny Ward, Cardiff City- Like Woodrow, Ward’s opportunities for the Bluebirds in the top flight are limited and the Tigers should try and bring him in on loan. Prior to joining Cardiff last summer, Ward scored 14 goals for Rotherham United in the second tier.
Anthony Pilkington, Cardiff City- He is another Cardiff player who Hull should plot a move for. The 30-year-old has got bags of experience from spells at Stockport County, Huddersfield Town, Norwich City and Cardiff and would offer the Tigers another option in attack.
Lys Mousset, AFC Bournemouth- The Cherries boss, Eddie Howe, may be tempted to loan out the 22-year-old to a Championship side for more first-team experience. It will be difficult for Mousset to break into Bournemouth’s side due to their vast variety of striking options. Therefore, a loan move to Hull would suit both parties.
