Wigan loan Huws

According to BBC Sports Wigan Athletic have managed to secure the services of Manchester City youth Emyr Huws on a 6 month loan.

The highly-rated 19-year-old made his first senior debut for City back in January where The Citizens took on Blackburn in a FA Cup replay at the Etihad.

The youngster then went on loan with Birmingham where he played 17 games scoring twice, One of these goals was the Midlands club’s goal of the season.

Latics Boss Uwe Rosler spoke of his delight at the latest deal:

“He is a very exciting player, I know him after working with him during a short spell I spent at City’s Academy in 2010-11 and he is clearly a very talented young player who has already broken through to the national squad, plus has played in the Championship.”

The deal for Huws demonstrates further how Rosler has set his focus to develop young talent at the Northwest club.
