Blackburn Rovers set for a big deadline day- Three/four likely signings

Blackburn Rovers are set for a busy day today as Tony Mowbray looks to bolster his side. Here are three/four deals they are likely to try and get over the line-

Luke Freeman, QPR- Blackburn made a £4 million bid for the 26-year-old midfielder last night, as reported by The72 yesterday. The exciting midfielder, formerly of Stevenage and Bristol City, would be an impressive signing by Mowbray and it is a deal that he wants to get done. There is also interest in him from Sheffield United but Rovers lead the way.

Wes Foderingham, Rangers- He could be set for a deadline day move to Rovers, according to the Scottish Sun. The Rangers goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order at Ibrox behind their new signing, Allan McGregor, is set to join Blackburn today as competition/back-up to their current goalkeeping options. He has played in England before for Swindon Town.

Wil Trapp, Columbus Crew- The Lancashire Telegraph have reported that Blackburn are keen on signing the MLS midfielder and have had a bid rejected already. He has made 6 caps so far in career for the American national team and has played over 150 games in the MLS.

Striker- The Rovers are still keen on bringing in a striker on loan. Mowbray wants to add some depth to his string options and a positive for them is that they have until the end of August to bring in someone on loan, so there is no rush for them today to bring in a forward.
