Nottingham Forest set to land Huddersfield Town centre back Michael Hefele and QPR miss out.

The Daily Mail have claimed that Nottingham Forest are in “advanced discussions” with Huddersfield Town over a potential deal for the Huddersfield Town cult hero.

The deal is believed to be worth £350,000, but the former Dynamo Dresden captain still has to pass a medical.

About Michael Hefele –

Michael Hefele signed Huddersfield Town from 3. Bundesliga champions Dynamo Dresden as a free agent in July 2016.

The 26 year-old centre back put pen to paper on a three year contract with the club.

He arrived at the club having captained his current side to promotion from the third tier of German football, secured by Dresden with five games to spare.

In the 2016/17 which saw the club win promotion to the top division for the first time in 45 years, 6ft 4in Hefele made 42 appearances, scoring five times, with nine yellow cards along the way.

But the 6’4″ defender was limited to just six appearances for Huddersfield Town last season as an Achilles injury kept him sidelined for the majority of the season.
