As the transfer window heads into it’s final 24 hours, the team at The72.co.uk have taken a look into the potential deadline day dealings at Leeds United.

Having appointed Marco Bielsa as their manager in June, the Argentine made little hesitation in getting a number of deals sorted in his first few weeks in charge.

The former Espanyol and Lazio manager is certain to be under the expectation of challenging for promotion from the Sky Bet Championship and his additions are certainly going to aid his chances.

Arrivals such as Patrick Bamford and Barry Douglas provide the Whites strength in all departments, while the loan signings of Lewis Baker, Tyler Denton, Jack Harrison and Jamal Blackman will add further quality to an impressive line-up.

Possible Deadline Day Exits

Yosuke Ideguchi could end up away from Elland Road having spent last season at Leonosa, although a potential destination is yet unknown.

Meanwhile, Eunan O’Kane is believed to still be a target for Charlton Athletic. Caleb Ekuban is another who could possibly depart Elland Road

Possible Deadline Day Arrivals

The Whites remain interested in Dundee’s Steven Caulker, although the Yorkshire side are in competition with Rangers to sign the 26-year-old defender.

Leeds are among a number of Sky Bet Championship clubs interested in Peterborough United’s Marcus Maddison. Middlesbrough, Derby County, Aston Villa and Preston North End are all rumoured to be interested in the playmaker who is reported to have a £2.5m release clause in his contract.

A deal with Brighton for midfielder Oliver Norwood has reached “advanced stages” according to The Sun, with a deal for the 27-year-old rumoured to be around £1.5m
