West Brom are clearly looking to bring in signings with less than 24 hours until the transfer window closes, and although the club brought in Dwight Gayle earlier this week as a replacement for Salomon Rondon who moved to Premier League Newcastle, Baggies fans want more players in; and fast.
The Championship side are clearly looking to bring in reinforcements to ensure that they compete at the top of the division this season; although some fans are worrying it’s too little, too late.
The breaking news of the past hour is that the club have launched a bid worth £3m for Rangers Captain James Tavernier, and whilst Baggies fans seem happy that a bid has been put in for a player; they are worried the club aren’t taking their transfer business so seriously:
James Tavernier? Right player…wrong price…£3 million ? Once Gerrard has stopped laughing he’ll probably reject it #WBA

along with fielding a boiler as a club mascot #WBA are really pushing the boundaries of serious credibility with this https://t.co/tc5AUHD48u

West Brom lodge £3m bid for Rangers defender – reports – Decent defender and a huge upgrade on #Nyom. Hopefully we can get this deal done, though will take more than £3m for Rangers to accept #WBA https://t.co/lDmc1rWLt4

James Tavernier would be a solid signing for #WBA.
Contributed to 69 goals in 145 Rangers appearances, but can’t see Gerrard selling his captain. Seems as though £3m would be a bargain too.
