“Would be class”- Leeds United fans make it clear they want Premier League midfielder

Leeds United are being linked with a move for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood.

The Whites are hoping to get a couple of deals done before the end of the transfer window tomorrow and their manager, Marcelo Bielsa, is believed to be a fan of Norwood.

He spent last season on loan at Fulham in the Championship and played 41 games for them. He played a part in the Cottagers’ promotion to the Premier League under Slavisa Jokanovic.

The 27-year-old started out at Manchester United and enjoyed loan spells at Carlisle United, Scunthorpe United and Coventry City in his early career. He then left United on a permanent deal in 2012 to join Huddersfield Town, where he spent two seasons.

Reading snapped him up in 2014 and he spent another two years in the Championship with the Royals. He then moved to Brighton in 2016 and helped the Seagulls gain promotion to the top flight in his first season at the club.

Norwood has bags of experience in the Championship. Here is how Leeds United fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that they want to sign him-
