Aston Villa look favourites to land Manchester City youngster Lukas Nmecha, he was in the Aston Villa directors box on Monday night, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Leeds United and Swansea City have been battling it out for the signature of Lukas Nmecha, but it seems like Aston Villa have swooped in on the exciting young product.
Manchester City youngster Lukas Nmecha was in the Aston Villa directors box on Monday night, does this mean Leeds United and Swansea City have missed out on the young talent?
Alan Nixon tweeted: “Lukas Nmecha. In the Villa side of the directors box tonight. The plot thickens.” And he also tweeted: “Loan lads like Nmecha are wanted by many. No harm taking their time to decide. And worth the wait. Very good prospect.”
Although, today Alan Nixon has hinted that Lukas Nmecha is still undecided where he wants to play his football and given Leeds United and Swansea City hope as he tweeted: “Nmecha taking time to decide.”
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has already used his link with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola with the loan signing of England U21’s international Jack Harrison on a season-long loan deal, and is trying to use them to land the forward, but Bielsa looks like he may of fallen short with Lukas Nmecha.
Most recently, Leeds United have been linked with Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah. The winger is attracting a host of interest and especially interest from Leeds United, Adomah has less than 12 months left on his contract at Aston Villa. If Aston Villa land Lukas Nmecha maybe this will open the door for Adomah to join Leeds United.
