Swansea City looking to get busy in transfer market- Two potential signings…

Swansea City are hoping to add some more faces to their squad before the transfer deadline tomorrow.

Graham Potter’s side got off to a dream start in their Championship opener away to Sheffield United on Saturday night and are now keen to bolster their ranks. Here are two potential signings that they want to get done-

Declan John-

Swansea are keen to bring the Welsh international on loan from Scottish Premier League giants Rangers, as reported by The72. John started his career at the Swans’ bitter rivals Cardiff City and went onto play 52 games for first-team. He also enjoyed loan spells at Barnsley and Chesterfield before signing for Rangers in 2017. He has now fallen down the pecking order under their new boss, Steven Gerrard, and is now set for a loan return to the Championship. John would give Graham Potter more depth and options in defence.

Tom James-

Another former Cardiff City defender, James has been linked with a move to Swansea City and is a deal that they will be eager to conclude before tomorrow’s deadline. The 23-year-old has been a man in-demand after impressing last season in League Two with Yeovil Town. He rose through the youth ranks at Cardiff but only played once for their first-team. He has found a home at Yeovil and has played 55 times for them but could now be set for a move back to Wales with Swansea City.

Both Declan John and Tom James have bright futures ahead of them in the game and would boost Swansea’s squad.
