Leeds United have joined the race for Amiens striker Moussa Konate, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.
Leeds United have already signed Patrick Bamford from Middlesbrough, but could be looking to bolster their attacking options. Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is eyeing up Senegal international Moussa Konate, but Amiens will demand €15m for their star striker.
Premier League side West Ham United and Burnley were also reportedly interested in the forward earlier in the window, but were put off by Amiens’ valuation of the striker.
French side Saint Ettiene have also been linked with a move for Konate, along with Serie A side Torino. Given the price tag and significant interest in the forward, it is unlikely that Leeds United or Brentford would be able to do a deal for the forward.

Would be a great signing since he's arguably good enough to play in the PL

Surely we can't possibly be signing Konate? He would cost a bomb. Brilliant player. Also, would we spend 7 million on Bamford to bench him? #lufc https://t.co/UuYrJq7i9A

Not a chance at that amount unless we could loan him
