2) James Wilson (Manchester United)
Cost: Loan
This lad was one of Manchester United’s few shining lights of last year’s awful campaign, he scored a Premier League double against Hull City in his first and as of yet only first team action at Old Trafford back in May. At only 18, he’s certainly one for the future, his impressive reserve record suggests he has a great eye for goal and despite only having an hour or so of first team action under his belt, those sixty minutes showed what a talent the lad is.
He has the mould of a real old fashioned striker and Manchester United won’t want to let him go permanently but he didn’t make it onto the plane for the pre-season trip to LA, so now would be the right time for a Championship team to swoop in and get this lad on loan for the season.
