David Villa has high praise for new Leeds United signing

“When he has the ball at his feet, you get the sensation something is going to happen. Few players give you that feeling”. David Villa has won the lot, La Liga’s, European Championships, Champions League’s and even a World Cup. He’s heaped praise on new Leeds signing Jack Harrison as well, as the pair played together at New York City.

David Villa was some player in his day and he’s still doing bits in the United States. A star for Barcelona alongside Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto’o and a World Cup winner alongside Fernando Torres and Andreas Iniesta he is the definition of “been there, done that, got the t-shirt”. He played alongside the highly rated Jack Harrison at New York City and as you can see, he rates the winger.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is widely recognised for being the best coach on the planet, and the best at developing players and teams. He, of course thinks that Leeds United boss is the best coach in the world but that is for another day. Leeds are short on wingers, very short but now two new options have emerged.

Along with Jack Harrison Leeds also have Tyler Roberts now available and he’s impressed during pre-season. The recruit from West Bromwich Albion cost £2.5 million in January but didn’t play until pre-season, coming off the bench at Southend United and then again at Oxford, bagging the goal of the summer. Harrison adds a new dimension and seems like a player who will excite the Leeds faithful.
