One down with Barry Douglas and two to go with Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison for Leeds United as fans start to get excited for the upcoming campaign.
Douglas was signed over the weekend, a proper bargain buy of around £3 million from Wolves in a deal where fans of the promoted Black Country side think they’ve had their pants pulled down.
Bamford is on the way, a near £7 million fee agreed for the former Middlesbrough and Chelsea striker – medical pending. Leeds United turned their attention to Bamford when it became clear that Derby’s Matej Vydra had no real intention of coming to Elland Road.
Then this morning broke the news that Leeds United were looking to make Manchester City winger Jack Harrison their third loan signing from the Premier League – Harrison joining Chelsea duo Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker at Elland Road.
A medical has been set for today, and the Leeds United fan surveillance has been set on a keen-eyed watch around the perimeter of the ground. It is a surveillance that has paid off richly:

As Leeds fans James shows, Harrison is at Elland Road, the first picture shoing him walking across from the Centenary Pavillion before a change of angle and camera shows him descending the stairs into the foyer of the East Stand.
With some fans on Twitter announcing that Leeds fans have ascended to ‘Stalker Level 9’, and joking aside, this does seem to indicate that an announcement on Harrison is pending.
