Leeds United have had an exceptionally busy week in the transfer window, bringing in the Barry Douglas on Saturday, supposedly agreeing on a deal worth £7m for Patrick Bamford and also edging close today, to signing Manchester City winger Jack Harrison on a season-long loan deal.
The Elland Road faithful has spoken though, regarding who they want to replace the outgoing Ronaldo Vieira, after news that the central midfielder will be moving to Sampdoria for a fee of around £6.2m from Leeds United, as the Daily Star report.
Leeds United fans have already taken to Twitter, suggesting who they want to join the club as Vieira’s new replacement, and a name who keeps consistently cropping up is Brentford midfielder, Ryan Woods.
The 23-year-old midfielder had an impressive campaign for Brentford last season during his third season with the club, since moving from Shrewsbury Town in 2015, and it seems that the majority of Leeds United fans want to invest the money from the Vieira sale, to fund a move for Woods ahead of this forthcoming season.
I’d sell him and use all the money to buy Ryan Woods. Will be pissed off if his sale funds the Bamford deal tho.

If Vieira is sold, then I’d like to see Ryan Woods come to Leeds. Great player every time I’ve seen him play #lufc

Slap it on Ryan Woods and be done. A lot better player.

Seeing Ryan Woods linked with #lufc. Best player I saw last year, would be really happy with that.

If we replace Vieira with Ryan Woods then I’m game. Can’t see how Vieira fits in if everyone is fit, can’t even remember him last having a decent game when he has played #lufc
