Hull City are targeting a move for a new striker. Here are two forwards that Nigel Adkins should try and bring to the KCOM Stadium-
Tom Bradshaw, Barnsley-
The Wales international has been linked with the Tigers in this transfer window along with fellow Championship sides Millwall and Ipswich Town. He would be ideal for Hull and fits in with their transfer policy they are sticking to this summer by being “young and hungry”. Bradshaw managed a combined 20 goals in his past two seasons with Barnsley in the Championship and has a point to prove in the second tier after the Tykes’ relegation. He would slot nicely into Hull’s starting eleven.
Charlie Wyke, Bradford City-
He has been linked with sides like Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Sunderland and he is another who Hull should target. Wyke has got a great goal scoring record so far in his career and is a real handful in League One. He would offer the Tigers another dimension going forward and would also be a plan B for them in games. He would cost in the region of £750,000 so would not break the bank. The 25-year-old started his career at Middlesbrough before moving to Carlisle United in 2015. He managed 39 goals in 89 games for the Cumbrians in League Two and earned a move to Bradford City. Wyke has since scored 20 goals in a season and a half with the Bantams in the third tier. He has progressed well in his career and is ready for the step up to the Championship.
