Opinion: Three Östersunds players who Graham Potter should sign for Swansea City

Graham Potter is hoping to add some more signings to his newly inherited Swansea City squad. Here are three players he should sign from his former club Östersunds-

Saman Ghoddos- The 24-year-old was at the World Cup in Russia this summer with Iran and is an impressive talent. Potter was able to get the best form out of Ghoddos at Östersunds and should try and bring him to the Liberty Stadium. He scored a combined 39 goals in his three seasons under Potter in all competitions. Ghoddos had previously played for Swedish sides IF Limhamm Bunkeflo, Trelleborgs FF and Syrianska before Potter signed him in 2016.

Hosam Aiesh- He scored against Arsenal back in February in the Europa League for Östersunds and is another player who Potter should sign for Swansea City. The 23-year-old has a bright future ahead of him in the game and would offer the Swans another option in midfield. Aiesh, who is 5ft 11inc, is a tricky midfielder who would more creativity to Potter’s Swans.

Doug Bergqvist- Swansea City are in need of some more defensive options and Bergqvist fits the bill. The 25-year-old defender played in the academies of QPR and Reading before spells in the lower leagues with Aldershot Town, Exeter City and Welling United. Potter signed him for Östersunds in February 2014 and he became a huge player for them. He slotted in nicely into their back line and helped them gain promotion to the Allsvenskan in 2015 and then get into the Europa League last year.
