Leeds United have agreed a fee with fellow Championship side Brentford for winger Florian Jozefzoon, as reported by The72 yesterday.
The new Leeds United boss, Marcelo Bielsa, is hoping to tie a deal up for the 27-year-old. He has so far brought Chelsea duo Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman to Elland Road on loan.
Leeds are in the hunt for attacking options and could make their first breakthrough for one with Jozefzoon. They have been linked with the likes of Derby County’s Matej Vydra and ex-Hull City striker Abel Hernandez throughout this transfer window.
Florian Jozefzoon, who is a former Holland Under-21 international, joined Brentford in January 2017 from PSV Eindhoven and has adapted well to life in the Championship. He played 43 games for the Bees last season in all competitions and scored 7 goals.
He started his career in Holland with Ajax and went onto play 5 games for their first-team. He earned himself a move to RKC Waalwijk after impressing during a loan spell at NAC Breda in the Eredivisie in 2012. He spent a season with them before PSV snapped him up in 2013.
Jozefzoon then stayed with PSV for four seasons prior to moving to England last year. He is now set for another move this summer to Leeds United.

No idea if Florian Jozefzoon is any good but I think we should sign him purely on account of his name #lufc
