Hull City have had discussions with Kasimpasa striker Mbaye Diagne over a move to the KCOM Stadium, according to WiwSport.com.

They are hoping to tie up deals for Sheffield United goalkeeper George Long, Chelsea right-back Todd Kane and Sturm Graz youngster Phillip Sittsam in the next 24 to 48 hours. Nigel Adkins’ side are now also being linked with Mbaye Diagne in what has been an active last week in the transfer market for the Yorkshire side.

Diagne is a 6ft 4inc striker who is a real handful in the Turkish top flight. He started his career in Italy with spells at Brandizzo and Bra and was snapped up by Juventus in July 2013. However, he did not make a senior appearances for the European giants but did enjoy loan spells at Ajaccio, Lierse, Al-Shabab and Westerlo during his two years in Turin.

He has since had stints in Hungary with Újpest and then China with Tianjin TEDA before signing for Kasimpasa in January. Diagne is a well-travelled striker and could be on the move again this summer with Hull City showing an interest.
