Journalist Alan Nixon has tweeted that there is set to be some surprising news regarding Leeds United in the transfer market, and Leeds United fans have been trying to work out just what it could be.
With the club seemingly pulling out of a deal for Derby County striker, they’ve been linked with other options such as Jonathan Kodjia of Aston Villa, Britt Assombalonga of Middlesbrough, Oli McBurnie of Swansea and Jordan Hugill of West Ham United.
At present, Leeds United’s transfer targets seem relatively unknown and the club haven’t really got going in the transfer window thus far.

Surprise news? What’s that then we are actually going to sign somebody

I hope it’s a nice one for us…. and not a surprise departure on the cards.
Although we keep getting linked with players but don’t actually sign them, so it’s difficult to get excited anyway.

God knows, just hope it’s positive…. but the trouble is being interested in a player and getting him in are 2 different things as we’ve seen just lately
