Three clubs in the running to sign Swansea City’s Alfie Mawson

Swansea City’s Alfie Mawson is a man in demand and they will face a battle to hold onto him this summer. Here are three clubs in the running to sign him on SkyBet-

West Ham- The Hammers are in the hunt for a new centre-back and could move for Alfie Mawson. They have also been linked with West Brom’s Craig Dawson and Newcastle United’s Jamaal Lacelles. The London side have been busy so far in this transfer window and have signed the likes of Jack Wilshere on a free transfer from Arsenal, Ryan Fredericks from Fulham, Bartosz Bialkowski from the Swans and Andriy Yarmolenko from Borrusia Dortmund.

Wolves- Nuno Espirito Santo’s side won the Championship title last season and are now looking to further bolster their squad ahead of their upcoming Premier League campaign. Alfie Mawson would be ideal for them as he has experience of playing in the top flight and has proven over the past couple of seasons that he is capable of playing at the top level.

Everton- Ex-Hull City and Watford boss Marco Silva is looking for potential signings to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad and Mawson would be perfect for the Toffees. He is young, home-grown and has a point to prove in the top flight following Swansea’s relegation to the Championship last season. Everton is a great place for players to go and develop as footballers. They have signed players from the Football League over recent seasons such as John Stones, Mason Holgate and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, could Mawson be next?
