Bristol City striker Milan Djuric is nearing the exit door at Ashton Gate, amid an offer from Serie B side US Salernitana, according to the Bristol Post.
It is understood that the Italian side are confident of landing their target ahead of the new season.
The Robins have already lost last seasons top scorer Bobby Reid to Cardiff and if Djuric does depart, it will leave Lee Johnson with little attacking options.
Djuric has just one year left on his current contract at Ashton Gate and the Italian side have made a bid worth £650,000 for the Bosnian.
The striker joined the Robins during the January transfer window if 2017 from Cesena and has made 27 Championship appearances whilst at the club.
He has only found the back of the net on four occasions for Lee Johnson”s side and his stay in Bristol now appears to be coming to an end.
He has been capped 14 times by Bosnia and Herzegovina, accompanying Roma striker Edin Dzeko up front for his Nation.
Djuric played 30 minutes in the Robins opening pre-season match against Cheltenham Town but he failed to find the back of the net in the Johnson Cup.
The striker is thought to be open to the idea of returning to the second division in Italy, should a deal be agreed between the two clubs.
Djuric is edging ever closer to the exit door at Ashton Gate and it appears that his time with the club is over.
He looks set to return to Italy after a successful spell in Serie B with Cesena.
