There has been a lot of doom and gloom around Hull City in recent months due to problems with the Allam ownership, player sales and lack of transfer activity.

The relationship between the owners and the fans will never be resolved under they eventually leave, however there is reason for Hull fans to be positive about next season amid all the negativity around their club so far this summer. Here is why-

Decent signings- It took a while to but Hull City have strengthen their squad well so far this transfer window. They have brought in the experienced Eric Lichaj from Nottingham Forest, who will slot in nicely into their defence. The Tigers have also snapped up exciting young talents Reece Burke from West Ham and Jordy de Wijs from PSV, who both bolster their defensive options. The signing of David Milinkovic, who impressed on loan at Hearts last season, from Genoa is an exciting one and offers them another option going forward.

Young and hungry players- Hull’s squad has a nice blend of youth and experience. The experienced players being the likes of David Marshall, Fraizer Campbell and Eric Lichaj. Their manager, Nigel Adkins, has opted to sign young and hungry players who are eager to impress and have points to prove. He also has youngsters like Jarrod Bowen and Daniel Batty already in his squad who will be committed to the cause next season so a nice blend is in the squad.

More on the way- The Tigers are not done yet in the transfer window and Nigel Adkins has stated his desire to bring more players into the squad, which is promising news for Hull fans. They are in need of some attacking options now and with the addition of these, their squad will be taking shape nicely for the next campaign.
