Manchester United defender Michael Keane has now attracted interest from Championship side Cardiff City.
Bluebirds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be looking to bolster his back line after a fee was agreed with QPR for Steven Caulker. The Noweigian will know about Keane from his time as reserve-team manager and wants the England U21 international to help Cardiff make an instant return to the top flight.
According to the BBC, the 21-year-old is currently on the US tour with the Red Devils and no deal will be complete until Louis van Gaal’s side return to England. Keane has Championship experience having been on loan at Leicester City, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers, with the Lancashire side also keen to take him back on loan for the upcoming season should he be available.
