Three West Brom players who could make the step back up to the Premier League

West Bromwich Albion finished the Premier League campaign bottom of the table, and will be playing in the Championship next season.

West Brom’s squad is good enough to challenge at the top of the Championship, and they could return to the top tier at the first time of asking. But some of their players could make the step back up to the Premier League, if the right club comes calling.

Here are three West Brom players that could be playing Premier League football this coming season.

1. Salomon Rondon

Rondon has been nothing short of impressive since he joined from Zenit St. Petersburg in 2015, and he has a decent goal-scoring ratio of one goal every four games.

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in the Venezuelan international, who has a £16.5 million relegation clause. He could certainly be a great asset for a mid-table Premier League side.

2. Jay Rodriguez

The striker played the majority of the season, and ended the campaign with seven goals to his name, including a title-deciding goal away at Old Trafford.

Rodriguez is a proven player in the Premier League, and Burnley are reportedly interested in taking the striker back to the club he left in 2012.

He has an eye for goal, and can be clinical if he is given the chances to score. Similar to Rondon, he would be an ideal striker for a mid-table side, or a newly promoted team in the Premier League.

3. Nacer Chadli

Currently the only West Brom player featuring at the World Cup in Russia, Nacer Chadli has played his part in Belgium’s successes so far. Chadli scored the winner in Belgium’s knockout stage win over Japan.

This will have only add to his value, and the World Cup will be the perfect platform and perfect shop window for Chadli to display his talents.

Besiktas are linked with the winger, but the former-Spurs man will be looking to discuss his future following Belgium’s return home from Russia.
