Details have emerged today that Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City have had bids accepted for AFC Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban with Nottingham Forest currently leading the race for the striker with a bid of £6 million.
Sky Sports Journalist Jim White has tweeted suggesting that three clubs are currently in for the strikers signature and this has opened speculation as to whether Leeds United are the third club in for Grabban and if the West-Yorkshire club are prepared to steal the striker away from Nottingham Forest and Birmingham City’s grasp ahead of the new season.
Source tells me @afcbournemouth have accepted £6m bid from @NFFC for Lewis Grabban. Three other @SkyBetChamp clubs are also chasing his signature.

Grabban spent last season on loan in the Championship with Sunderland and Aston Villa and had a highly prolific campaign, scoring 20 goals in 34 appearances across his two loan spells, almost finishing as the top-scorer in the Championship.
It appears Matej Vydra is top of Leeds United’s wish-list for the forthcoming season, however, the striker won’t come cheap and it’s thought that to bring last seasons top-scorer in the Championship to Elland Road, it’ll cost the West-Yorkshire club around £11/£12 million in transfer fees.
Grabban would be a slightly cheaper option that Vydra and would also bring guaranteed goals to Elland Road.
Additionally, if the striker was to move to Elland Road he would evidently not be moving to Nottingham Forest or Birmingham City which in turn would take a goalscoring threat away from two clubs who are thought to be directly rivaling Leeds United for a chance at promotion this season.
