Leeds United linked with a shock move for striker with 129 goals in 186 games

According to the Daily Star, Leeds United have been linked with a shock move for striker Baghdad Bounedjah during this transfer window, which would be nothing short of a surprise if a deal was to be struck with Leeds United and the strikers current club Al Saad SC.

Bounedjah is an Algerian International and has an exceptional scoring record in every division he’s played in with his overall goals to games ratio being nothing short of amazing, with the striker scoring 129 goals in 186 games.

The striker has scored four international goals for Algeria in 14 games and with reported interest from Elland Road, Leeds United really could be looking to bring a ‘proven goalscorer’ to Elland Road.

The striker stands at just over 6ft making him a real aerial threat and a handful for defenders. Should the club move to sign Derby County striker Matej Vydra, the striker could link-up nicely with last seasons Championship top-scorer who would be suited to more of a number 10 role with his pace, trickery, and agility.

Bounedjah would be a surprising signing but also would fit Marcelo Bielsa’s attacking style of play perfectly with the Argentinian favouring a heavily attack-minded side. Given the fact that the Algerian knows where the net is and that Leeds United look set to bring in a number of strikers, it would appear that the forward would be a largely positive signing and has the capacity to be incredibly effective if he switches Saudi Arabia for West-Yorkshire during this transfer window.
