Five players that Blackburn Rovers should sign this summer

Here are five players that Blackburn Rovers should sign this summer –

Kean Bryan, Manchester City – Kean Bryan, who is aged 21, was named Young Player of the Year by Oldham Athletic after impressing hugely despite the club’s eventual relegation to League Two. He started as a box-to-box midfielder but transformed into a centre back, the youngster likes to use his strength in possession, vision and passing ability to influence the game from the centre of the park.

Mohamed Eisa, Cheltenham Town –  After an impressive campaign in League Two this season, scoring 23 goals in 46 league games and maybe Blackburn should swoop in for a deal. The Sudanese striker spent his early career in non-league football with Dartford, Corinthian and Greenwich Borough. At Greenwich he scored 57 goals in 100 appearances in all competitions before leaving the club in June 2017 to join Cheltenham.

Callum Hudson-Odoi, Chelsea – During the recent FIFA Under-17 World Cup, Hudson-Odoi scored England’s first goal of the tournament against Chile, and was an integral part in their eventual triumph, playing in every game. The young midfielder particularly starred in the final, assisting three goals to help England come from two goals down to beat Spain 5-2. Known for going on mazy runs through midfield, the 17-year-old has a high ceiling and at such a young age, has plenty of time to make the breakthrough into senior football.

Jon Nolan, Shrewsbury Town – The midfielder has made 43 appearances for Shrewsbury this season and has managed to notch nine goals from midfield. A host of Championship clubs have expressed their interest in signing Nolan, so Blackburn will have competition if they wish to sign the midfielder. With Shrewsbury failing to earn promotion to the Championship and Paul Hurst leaving for Ipswich Town maybe this is the right time for Nolan to leave Shrewsbury Town.

Eoin Doyle, Preston North End – Doyle is a proven goalscorer, as he showed last season with Oldham Athletic where he scored 16 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions. To add to this, the Irishman scored 25 goals in 33 appearances for Chesterfield during the 2014/15 season. With him not being needed at Preston North End this may lead Blackburn to swoop in for a deal.
