Millwall boss Ian Holloway has kept tight lipped over Magaye Gueye.

The former Everton winger was expected to feature in the pre-season friendly with Stevenage Borough today, after impressing at Dartford on Tuesday night. But Gueye was nowhere to be seen.

When Holloway was questioned about the 24-year-old not playing he said “I might have him locked away in a room to keep him under wraps”, leaving Millwall fans to figure it out for themselves.

From my perspective Holloway is keeping everything hush-hush. He hasn’t played Gueye, so he can’t impress another club and they cannot hijack a deal between The Lions and the Frenchman.

This also gives the impression that a deal for the winger is imminent; if this is the case, Holloway would have done some good business!
