Stoke City striker spotted moshing at Isle of Wight festival

Stoke City’s Peter Crouch has been spotted partying at the Isle of Wight festival as reported by fan Scott Brotherton.

The Isle of Wight festival is a music festival that takes place at Seaclose Park in Newport and with Glastonbury taking a fallow year is expected to be bigger than ever this year. It started on the 21st June and will end tomorrow and is being headlined by the likes of The Killers, Depeche Mode, Liam Gallagher and Kasabian. And it is the latter which has caused this to hit the headlines.

Former England international Peter Crouch was spotted in the crowd having the time of his life during Kasabian’s headlining set last night with a video being tweeted by Scott Brotherton who spotted the famously lanky striker moshing.

Obviously with it still being the close season players across the EFL are being allowed to let their hair down for a bit before they have to go back to the daily grind of training and getting fit enough for the season. Crouch has plenty to prepare for as he is making his return to the Sky Bet Championship after way over a decade of playing in the Premier League.

And with his Stoke side set for a challenging year as they look to get promoted back to the Premier League at the first attempt, you can’t blame him for having a bit of fun at the Isle of Wight festival. But tomorrow he may take a break from the festivities to watch England take on Panama in the World Cup.
