Leeds United fans have started to go crazy after Birmingham City goalkeeper David Stockdale has removed Birmingham City from his Twitter bio – with Leeds United fans hoping the goalkeeper and their transfer target is doing this ahead of a proposed move to Elland Road.
Leeds United fans are hoping they can either bring in Stockdale or Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn during the transfer window with the club being heavily linked with both keepers and although it seems a small thing to do – Whites fans are hoping that Stockdale is Leeds bound.
The speculation is starting to unwind on Twitter, but with Leeds being in the market for a new goalkeeper, fans are likely to think that Stockdale is Elland Road bound – particularly as the keeper is a Whites fan. Birmingham City reportedly want rid of the goalkeeper off the clubs wage bill, so, it could be likely the player is set to leave the club.
Here, we round up the best reactions on Twitter we’ve seen:
Any significance in Stockdale removing all trace of Birmingham City from his profile? #lufc pic.twitter.com/ypMJX8sAA3

Maybe so, I would actually prefer Gunn myself though. From what I’ve heard about him anyway. No fee, no doubt less wages. Happy with either to be fair but I’m sure time will tell.
