Popular purple and lime kit returns for Bristol City

Bristol City will again bring colour to the Sky Bet Championship next season with the club having revealed a purple and lime third kit.

The Robins have long had a tradition with the two more unusual kit colours with their original purple and lime change strip dating back to the early 1990s.

The club had a purple away shirt with lime shorts and white socks last season and the kit was voted the best in the English Football League for the 2017/2018 campaign.

Bristol City have revealed a further purple and lime kit as their third kit for the coming season and their latest effort could possibly beat last season’s award winning number.

The 2018/2019 third kit sees a lime green sash added to the purple shirt while the jersey is finished off with a lime green striped trim. The shorts will again be lime green while the introduction of purple socks has given the kit an even greater overall look than in 2017/2018.

Bristol City’s away shirt will be white with a black sash and looks just as smart as the third kit, however, it is the purple and lime design which could really fly off the shelves in the clubstore in the coming weeks.

The new purple and lime third kit will be available for pre-order from 28 June while the kit is set to become available for purchase in July.
