Nottingham Forest new ‘project’ for global super agent

Nottingham Forest are enjoying the good times at their club at the minute and they have been given an exciting boost in the last 24hrs with news circulating on social media from journalist Alan Nixon that super agent Jorge Mendes sees Nottingham Forest as his next big project.

Mendes had a large hand in Wolves’ promotion from the Championship last season and helped the club to bring in some high profile players such as Ruben Neves and Wily Boly to Molineux alongside manager Nuno Espirito Santo and could be set to the same with Nottingham Forest this season.

Nottingham Forest have already begun to start smashing transfer records and did so last Thursday when they announced the capture of Benfica duo Joao Carvalho and Diogo Goncalves. Carvalho cost a club record £13.2m and if the club move to sign striker Goncalves on a permanent deal at the end of the season, he will most likely cost a new record transfer fee for the East Midlands club.

Forest are creating a huge buzz around the City Ground at the minute, with the club announcing a new shirt sponsor, a new exciting kit, new transfers and also huge season ticket sales for the upcoming campaign. With Aitor Karanka at the helm behind the club, Forest could be set for a fantastic season ahead of them.

Forest fans should brace themselves if Jorge Mendes is to become increasingly involved with the club as some high calibre players could choose to make the move for the Championship and the good times really can begin to roll back in at the former European Champions’ ground for this coming season.
