Felix Wiedwald has not had the easiest time at Leeds United by any stretch of the imagination, and in the last 24hrs, news has been released that Eintracht Frankfurt are prepared to give the goalkeeper the chance to leave West Yorkshire and to return to his native Germany according to the Yorkshire Post.
Leeds United are supposedly prepared to let the goalkeeper move on, just a year after he signed for the club on a deal worth around £500,000.
Here’s some of the reactions that Leeds United fans have given to the potential departure of the goalkeeper this morning on twitter:
Lot of people asking why we havent sold Wiedwald. I’m not just saying this to be funny, but I genuinely think it would be hard to find a buyer. Lets not joke about, he was HORRENDOUS. Worse Leeds keeper since Rachubka. #LUFC

Bielsa: Hello RyanAir I’d like to book a one way ticket to Frankfurt please
RyanAir: Could I take your name please?

I couldn’t care less if Leeds got rid of Felix Wiedwald but losing Bailey Peacock-Farrell would be a disaster, we know Wolves have money just hope Leeds reject any bid from them #lufc #mot

Good riddance, absolute liability! QPR away, Bristol City home, Boro away, Ipswich home just to name a few! Shower of shite! @AngusGunn01 you on your way? @LUFC

Felt sorry for him. Some poor errors during season and towards the end of his playing time other clubs were basing gameplans of lumping ‘balls in and around him and seeing chaos it ensued’. Needed to be taken out the firing line for his own sanity. Good luck to him. #LUFC
