 Coventry City to sign Reice Charles-Cook

As reported by Sky Sports 20-year-old goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook has reportedly agreed to sign a one-year deal with the League One club. Charles-Cook left League Two outfit Bury at the end of last season after only making two appearances for the club last season, Now a free agent the Ex-Arsenal youth was attracting a lot of attention from Premiership & Championship opponents however it is believed that he wishes to continue his development with City.

Michael Keane remains target for Blackburn Rovers

Local Paper the Lancashire Telegraph has linked United startlet Michael Keane with a return to Ewood Park. The 21-year-old joined Rovers last season on what was a huge successful short loan deal, with the England U21 appeared 13 times for Blackburn scoring 3 goals. Keane however has been included in new United boss Louis Van Gaal’s pre-season tour squad as they jet off to America. Blackburn will now have to wait until the end of the tour to find out how Keane fits into United team.

Blackpool reinforce pre-season squad

The Gazette are today reporting that Blackpool are heading into their pre-season game against Penrith with a host of trailists & youth players so that Jose Riga can see live in action.New goalkeeper Ben Alnwick has been training with the Seasiders and looks set to start between the sticks for the club, Another player that has been formally been offered a contract with the club includes Ex-Tykes player Martin Cranie who has also been training with the club.

Blackpool owner Karl Oyston has believed to of told Jose Riga to field his strongest possible eleven which was against Riga’s initial plans of sending the youth team to fulfil the fixture.
