The Burnley Express have suggested that if Burnley want to secure the signatures of West Brom duo Craig Dawson and Jay Rodriguez, they’ll have to offer more than £25m for a double deal to tempt West Brom to even consider selling their most prized assets.

West Brom have already lost Jonny Evans during this transfer window and will not want to lose two more of their best players, unless it’s for the right price. Dawson and Rodriguez are easily two of the most talented players in Darren Moore’s squad and with the promise of Europa League football next season, it shouldn’t take much to tempt either player to make the move to Turf Moor.

Rodriguez played for Burnley before moving to Southampton and it’s thought that Sean Dyche has shown interest in the ex-Burnley man to try and bolster his squad ahead of what will be a demanding season with the Clarets facing a lot of extra games in Europe. Notoriously, teams who qualify for a European competition for the first time often tend to struggle in the league, so by having better squad depth, Burnley would be able to endure a European campaign, whilst still looking to progress in the Premier League.

Darren Moore will be incredibly reluctant to sell two of his prized assets, but with Burnley having more money to come back for the duo if the £25m bid is rebuffed, it may be a case of when rather than if the pair will sign for the Lancashire side.
