Matej Vydra, Derby County Vydra’s capture would be a massive coup signing for Leeds, he has proven that he is a striker more than capable of hitting the back of the net in the Championship. Last campaign, he made 40 appearances for Derby County, and Vydra impressively scored 21 goals and notched four assists. But he will come at a cost as Derby County paid £8.5 million and are believed to want at least £10 million plus.

Dean Henderson, Manchester United – The young Manchester United youngster has certainly caught the eye in his massive success at Shrewsbury Town last season. The 21-year-old shot-stopper has been regarded by many as the best goalkeeper in League One last season. Henderson’s quality hasn’t gone unnoticed either. A vast array of clubs have hinted at acquiring the young goalkeeper, who deserves a chance to prove himself at Championship level, he would be a perfect fit for Leeds, who may need to loan Henderson as he looks to sign a new deal at Manchester United.

Pedro Chirivella, Liverpool – The 21-year-old has been recently linked with Leeds, Chirivella joined Liverpool after they paid a fee of just over £2 million to bring him to Anfield from the Valencia youth set-up. He has been out on loan to Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles on a half-season loan in 2017 and has been out on loan for this season at Dutch side Willhelm II.

Ethan Ampadu, Chelsea – Having joined Chelsea in the summer from Exeter, highly-rated starlet Ethan Ampadu has impressed Antonio Conte to such an extent that he did not allow him to go out on loan and has instead found himself on the fringes of the first team picture. The 17-year-old made his debut in the Carabao Cup third round against Nottingham Forest last season, garnering rave reviews with a calm, assured performance in the middle of the park.

Marcus Maddison, Peterborough United –  The Peterborough United star deserves a chance in the Championship and has been linked with Leeds for the past few seasons. The winger has made 148 appearances for The Posh scoring 35 goals. Maddison, who has the most assists in League One, has been a pain to League One defence for a number of years but will he get the chance to shine in the Championship for Leeds United?
