Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the running to sign Manchester United and England defender Luke Shaw, according to odds given out by popular bookmakers Bet Victor.
The left sides defender looks set to leave Old Trafford this summer after a hit and miss season with the Red Devils. It is no secret that the 22-year-old and United boss Jose Mourinho are not exactly best friends, and Shaw is wanting to leave in order to revitalise his career.
Luke Shaw completed the move to the Premier League giants back in 2014 for a fee believed to be somewhere in the region of £30 million.
The move made him the most expensive teenager in world football at the time, and it is fair to say he arrived at Old Trafford with plenty of weight on his shoulders.
However, things never really worked out, and he fell out of favour there, which consequently cost him his place in the national side as well.
He did suffer an horrific injury in October 2015, when he was the victim of a double leg break in a Champions League match with PSV. Since then, he has struggled, and a move away from the club could help him get his career back on track.
And it appears that a move to recently crowned Sky Bet winners Wolverhampton Wanderers could be on the cards, with the Black Country club being given odds of 14/1 to sign Luke Shaw.
Wolves’ current left back is Barry Douglas, but Nuno Santo is expected to bring in another left sided defender this summer to give him some competition for his starting place.
